Ground-floor public areas rebuilt around a curved plaster ceiling and full-height ribbed timber, delivered alongside an operating hotel above.
The challenge
A double-curved ceiling geometry with no repeating radius, and works sequenced around live guest access and overnight noise restrictions.
Our delivery
The ceiling was modelled and set out digitally, then built as prefabricated segments to remove wet trades from the critical path. Logistics ran to a nightly permit with a dedicated guest route maintained throughout.
Outcome
Zero guest complaints escalated to management, and the reception opened on the contracted date.
